Few reports filleting out that Lomax has been targeted by that new union competition but it seems like it's the player agents just seeing what it's all about. Not much to worry about as Lomax is in the first year of a four year deal and seems like it's the player agent just asking around. Lot of other nrl players linked to it but nothing has come of that yet

I wonder if nrl step in and offer incentives to stop Union from poaching them ? Probably won't just sit back and let it happen 😂
They did say they would considerate it when the Golden Child (Cleary) was supposedly on the radar of Australian rugby. So it wouldn't surprise me if they did. One marquee player per team seems fair. Say half of their salary isn't counted towards the salary cap.
The likelihood of that competition getting off the ground is minimal.

Is it his manager trying to get his client more money and more a cut for himself? Or did Lomax ask him to look at it. Surely his agent doesn't just do this without asking Lomax first but then again Lomax also did take less money to come to Parramatta.
