Penisini isn't signed for next year, i don't think. Didnt he sign his players only option for this year. Or am i missing something.
He said in an interview last year he signed til 2028 so unless something happened recently and that's why it's not announced?
Zero tackle dosnt show it either on the contract list, but that dosnt mean a lot either at times.
I found a fox article that states Will has just resigned to the Eels for 2026. That article was written late May 2025.
I can't find any other announcement.
Will had an option for 2026 and took it but said around August he extended til 2028. So the extension for this year was just activating an option.
LB I searched everywhere, the only thing i could find , is a press conference on 1st September 2025 where Will is reflecting on the last game of the year its titled Pensini reflects on 100 game career, it's on the eels nrl website. He says right near the end of the 3 minute interview.
" I'm actually staying for I think another 3 years, till the end of 2028".
However there is no announcement at all by the Eels or anything else in the media about it. Going through all the signing and resigning news Will dosnt get a mention at all. Players like Doorey, Pezet, Richard Pensini, Addo Carr all get an extension statement published by the Eels, but no Will.

Sounds like he isn't offically signed past 2026. I asked AI to help and that stated Will disclosed in September he was resigning with the Eels for 3 years, Ai said However their has been no offical statement or official contract list to indicate that from the Eels corporation.
The boys at the Cumberland Throw are adamant he is signed until 2028. Was a question they were asked afew times and they confirmed he was signed after a conversation with him apparently. But yes, you are correct, no offical post.
He's definitely a player we should be signing, not only for his speed and finishing but he will have a massive point to prove
