So a positive for us is the lack of representation in the world cup the players who play in the world cup can't return to training till 6 weeks after they finish rep duties historically the teams that have a big representation at World cups tend to start slow the next season the world cup hangover is real.
We have 9 of our top 30 playing that gives the rest of the squad plus fringe/development players time to train as a unit.
RCG (Australia)
Dyl Brown (NZ)
Penisini (Tonga)
Moses (Lebanon)
El-Zakhem (Lebanon)
Sivo (Fiji)
Blake (Fiji)
Nathan Brown (Italy)
Makatoa (cook Islands)
Obviously Papalii,Kafuasi and Marata also made Rep teams but they are no longer Eels players and so are dead to me.
For the record I think International Rugby league is a bit of a waste as the game will never really be an International game.

Yes, I am pretty happy about our non selections for the world cup........can you imagine all the players lining up to hear about AB's secret plays and how he disguises the bench with special tactics.
None of them deserve it after the GF showing..
International RL is a sad scene, can only hope theres some underdog success story
There are also a few younger players playing in the WC

Luca Moretti, Jack Colovatti (Parramatta Eels) Italy
Elie El-Zakhem (Parramatta Eels) Lebanon
Luke Bain* (Parramatta Eels) Scotland - (no idea what the asterix means here)
You forgot Junior
Of course I forgot him.
I'll wager the teams with the most reps will be playing clunky to start the season
