Win one more game probably avoid the spoon.

Can not wait for this season to be over, but looking at the draw and bottom of the ladder sides one more win should be enough to avoid the spoon. Knights titans eels and souths have all been decimated by injuries and will struggle to win a game to end the season. Titans are already one win behind Parra and probably won't win another game this year. Knights will also struggle to win a game and we play them last game of year. South's v Parra in a few weeks will prob decide where we finish as well. It does give Ryles a chance to experiment a little with lineups but hopefully he picks the best 17 available in some of the must win games v cows/souths/knights.

  • Bit early to call that, and as equally depressing. With Moses back I would have us a good chance of beating the Rabbitohs, and possibly the Knights and Cowboys, with both teams dominating the headlines with their coaches getting sacked. But with Iongi's injury I think we will struggle. He's been our best every week.

Rabbitohs have an easier run home with Eels, Dragons, and Titans.

I can't see Titans winning another game, but they do have Tigers and Knights.

Knights and Tigers will struggle to win another game as well.

The last game of the year will sort it all out...

Titans Vs Tigers, Eels Vs Knights, Rabbitohs Vs Roosters

Let's hope we're not in another Spoonbowl.

    • Thing about Newcastle is they are actually still trying. Yeah Souths have not too bad a run home but their team is that ravaged by injuries that Dragons would beat them and dare I say we should beat them.

Tigers also are trying and have some talent. Titans I think will now give up after they couldn't beat Wests. Hasler's 500th and final game unless they win but do they start to get going after that with interim? Unlikely as the entire staff will be gone with Hasler.

Gold Coast v Souths is the big one, if Souths win that then GC officially get the spoon. Yet GC have a better team on paper and it is at Robina.

      • Tino and Fifita most likely done for the season, titans in trouble

  • In the conversation yet again how are we supposed to attract talent down here.

    • We have a system Coryn. Sign youngsters with potential that other teams overlook, Sign older players that have issues . dramas at their current club and have no other interested parties. Leak to the media  that we were after a talented player after they sign elsewhere to show that we were trying.

I wonder if the club has thought of buying an Oz Lotto ticket to perhaps convince talent to sign here. Seems like no other strategy is working for them.

'I just hope they are looking into how to attract talent. They have a very good coach that is trying with what he has got. He has implemented cultural change, we have a top halfback and a couple of very very good youngsters. Now the club and in particular the football manger must stand up and deliver some real talented in demand experienced players to compliment the team.

  • Knights and bunnies have a bye in hand so that gives them an advantage over us.

The titans probably will win at least one more game so we need to find at least one more win, maybe two.
