Does any one know his contract status ? I know he seemed to think he had re-signed but it was never announced . Let's bloody well hope it never happened.
He is the worst starting centre in the comp . I don't care if he's a local junior , what high hopes the club had for him , whether we think we can get him at a discount ... don't care .. he is rubbish .
He lacks attention to detail , is inconsistent with his effort and makes some of the stupidest decisions you'll see on a football field . Add this to his limited athleticism he just isn't a first grade footballer .
He's played 102 first grade games and hasn't developed the game smarts and awareness of a first grade footballer. He's not on his lonesome today but god he's a disappointing player . Even his good play like running over a bloke you know he's going to get it wrong and turn it over or drop the ball ... he just doesn't have it . We're wasting our time with guys like this .

I doubt it . He can't master the fundamentals . His skill set is that low . He's playing the wrong sport. He is legitimately the worst starting centre in the competition. Matthew Timoko can't tackle or make good defensive reads and he walks into any team over Will. He's a rugby union player or he works in construction .
You can tell he is a union player. All his passes are very awkward. He doesn't beat players with speed or footwork. He just runs over them. Very union like. Make sense cause he was a gun union player as a kid. It's a real shame for Penisini cause his first 2 years at the eels many of us thought he could be an elite centre. But his defence has actually gone backwards
Penisini career has mirrored that of the team in his initial years as you mention there was plenty of promise but he hasn't kicked on much like the team id suggest that's the real problem here because we have no depth or development there's no one whose put pressure on to displace him.

This is 100% correct . Hes built to be a short yardage gainer in union . He doesn't have the skillset to be a modern day league outside back . The game also moves too quickly for him to defend. He's makes that many bad reads and whiffs he can't recover from because of his lack of athleticism . I think for Will to make it as a league player with strength being his only real attribute he would have to be a real high IQ player that doesn't make mistakes . He would have to know how to use his asset and how to hide his short comings . He has absolutely no idea. I've seen him make Starford Toa look like Steve Renouf. Ive seen him cop an absolute bath from Tallis Duncan who got absolutely exposed as a centre the moment he went there the weekend just past .. he's an extremely weak first grader . He would be the 34th best starting centre in the comp and thered be some that can't get a run ahead of him. It's very concerning our club rates him as a foundation piece.

Slow as and terrible hands... add zero ability to step or swerve plus bog average defence and this list is enough to NOT be an NRL centre... but all good at Parra!
I think he is a yardarge winger. Only issue is he has hands like feet...
