Will Penisi

2 games following the reprieve many of us were giving him for his lack of progression and things aren't looking better. Good thing he has an option in his favour to stay at the club .

The basic skills in his game had fallen off badly , but for a bloke that seems reasonably intelligent off field how low is his football IQ? His reads in defence are horrible and he comes up with some disgusting misses even when he makes the right reads . I'd say the last hope for him is to put Addo Carr outside him who would be the first first grade standard winger he's probably had outside him and will help him with positioning and communication because boy he's becoming a huge issue. He got an absolute bath today . He was the worst of a bad bunch .

    • Thought that too! Poor bastard :(

    • Agree thought the same. Took a paycut to play in that rabble.

  • Ado carr will help. Will attack is very good.  His defence is very bad. He also has no confidence in Russell.

  • Agreed been terrible

  • Samrani to centre the Fox on the wing and drop Penisini

    • 💯

    • Dylan Brown would be an elite centre. As it stands, he's just an average 5/8.

      • Or fullback. He plays like a fullback at 5/8 anyway. I have always said that is his position. He's a great defender, can make breaks and supports players (when he is switched on) - it's just that he can't direct play (as a half should be able to do).

        • Problem is he also can't direct defence as a fullback should be able to do.

He's a 6. Just not a very good one. He needs to be in a good team and then he shines. He doesn't make players around him better but does play awesome when a team around him is going well. Some players are just like that. Plenty of them around actually.

          • He is a good 6, even if he needs a quality 7 if yoh are not a good player you don't perform regardless. He is a by product player.

"LB, perceived fair value and expectations are important nuances.
If a player feels undervalued, grievance is inevitable. If he’s overpaid, pressure intensifies. And if he’s unhappy, money won’t fix it.
I don’t buy the idea elite players take huge…"
