Just wondering what other Eels fans are thinking about Mitchell Moses possibly being selected by Coach Daley for Origin 2. I personally don't think he should be selected because of his injuries and also his form this year hasn't been the greatest.
I think it's more important he gets himself 100% fit and spends more time on the field for Parra the Origin. It seems everytime he plays in Origin he either picks up some injury or aggravates current injuries that sidelines him for Parra matches.
What do others on here think?

I think calling Daley a coach is incredibly disrespectful to actual coaches.
Ah! Krupty, out of the mouths of Babes
If I'm honest I'm waiting for Moses to leave.
Ive been of this mindset for a little while now.
I don't know where his priorities are at with regards to the club and commitment to it over playing SoO footy but making himself unavailable for the team that's paying his wages and a team that's in desperate need for his services gives me a moment of pause on his actual commitment to the club.
Playing for the badge is a popular comment used in Parra circles is Moses all in here I just don't know he is.
I think he is all in.
Although I see him requesting to leave so he can get a shot at a premiership with a good team
Tend to agree.
I can't see many other options for Moses on $1,300,000 per season. I would also guess he is on a ratchet clause meaning his $1,300,000 could become $1,500,000 when the new broadcast deal is done. The $30,000 per game for Origin is actually less than what he averages for each Eels game.
On another note, players getting $30,000 for playing Origin is a joke. At $30,000 a game equals just under $3,500,000 paid to players over a 3 game series. If I was to guess, the NRL would make at least 20 times that amount from ticket sales and broadcast money.
First up, his club form does not warrant being selected.
It seems as though this year he has been restricted playing due to injury and this has been reflected in his individual efforts in games.
I know we are well down on troops so it would be added pressure on Moses but for me his general game has lacked this year, especially his defence.
His only focus with this injury is to get himself right for his next Parramatta game, not NSW game. End of story.
I don't care where we sit on the ladder either when saying this. Every game should be looked at as a desperate, must win game.
I would not select him.
you are correct about his form this year doesn't or shouldn't be picked for SOO but stop making excuses for him, if he was carrying an injury they wouldn't of put more pressure on him allowing him to do the kicking. Alot of people don't actually watch games as his defense would even have been shown worse than what it is if the person they keep blaming, Tuilagi didn't save his butt. Yes Tuilagi does make mistakes in defense but has improved this year and gets blamed for alot which is actually caused by the poor defense from the middles which are very diappointing.
Agree I think attempting to win a premiership after a 40 year drought is far important than Origin.
Yeah right, tell me when you would decline $30k for a night of work?
