I think Braith would of knocked Latrell back to Taree , poor Braith being the single playboy he is would of no doubt been dinning with one his hottie female admirers,  so how embarrassing would it of been having a grub like Latrell tapping him on the shoulder

Latrell Mitchell vs. Braith Anasta: South Sydney star fires up over NRL 360 criticism

South Sydney star Latrell Mitchell shirtfronted Braith Anasta at a fancy restaurant this week unhappy with the treatment he and his Rabbitohs have been copping on NRL 360.

Rabbitohs superstar Latrell Mitchell and Fox Sports NRL 360 host Braith Anasta have been involved in a heated argument outside a popular Surry Hills restaurant.

Anasta was quietly having dinner at Chin Chin after Wednesday night’s show when he received a tap on the shoulder … and turned around to see Mitchell, who had left a table where he was sitting with his wife and baby.

A fired-up Mitchell began complaining about Anasta’s coverage of his poor form for the last-placed Souths on NRL 360.

Latrell Mitchell and Braith Anasta had a heated argument outside of Chin Chin restaurant.

He then invited Anasta outside.

Not wanting a disturbance inside the restaurant, Anasta followed him outside.

The pair argued on the street for several minutes, both refusing to back down.

  • So let me get this straight. A current NRL player physically threatened a journalist. No ramifications? Seems about right.
I saw Anasta recently. The dude is still jacked. He destroys Latrell with a few body blows.

    • A player threatening a journalist is way beyond the pale. If the NRL simply ignores this, it is setting a dangerous precedent.

Criticisms of a player's form have always been and should always be fair game for any journalist covering the game. It is no secret that Latrell's form runs wildly hot and cold; he is a lazy trainer, and that fullback is not his best position. These are not controversial opinions by any stretch of the imagination.

I wonder what Sam Burgess is thinking over there in Ole' Blighty? I hope he sends calculated "I told you so" messages to those who drove him out.

      Absolutely disgraceful!

      • Anasta and Burgess are still very good mates. No doubt Fatrells real motivation was partly to do with Sam's calling out of Mitchell to the boss.

  • "Latrell Mitchell and Braith Anasta had a heated argument outside of Chin Chin restaurant.

    He then invited Anasta outside."

Great journalism from whoever wrote that story...

  • With these two it would be handbags at 50 paces.

  • Braith should have Chinned the dog

  • Braith would have knocked him out cold and then licked the salty tears off his face.

  • Braith

Latrell put in a couple of half decent punches and then just got tired, disinterested and left yelling out 'racists!' because a couple in the crowd were rooting for Braith.

  • Chubby The Professional Victim has just become so toxic to the game... as long as Souths (and the game) keep walking on eggshells around this turd and his mate, it will continue downhill. NRL need to stop pandering and toeing the brain dead society apologist for no reason path.

If you're playing shit, if you're causing shit, if you're carrying on like a shit in public... then you should be called out on it. And newsflash arsehole, as soon as someone criticises you or does call you out, it's not racist and you're not a victim. Just piss off.

Oh... and Bwaith for the win... a quick up & under the ribs into Fattrell's big guts and he would have been rolling around on the ground, crying, calling Braith a racist and yelling for compo or an apology of some sort.
