Parramatta coach Jason Ryles has just 10 rounds of football to win over brilliant five-eighth Dylan Brown next season.
Brown was the Eels' best player in 2031, taking over the playmaking reins when star halfback Mitchell Moses was injured.
The Kiwi-born pivot is under contract until 2031, but has a unique get out clause for 2026 midway through next season if he is not happy with the new-look Eels.
If the new Southern Orcas Christchurch bid succeeds. Brown will be a massive marquee signing. I have no doubt he would want to go back to NZ for this new club.
While the contract's option appeared to end in 2031, Brown has the chance to either not re-up or renegotiate in 2026 and 2028, with deal locking him definitely through to the end of 2025.
"This whole team is crap. Does the coaching team even practice ball control, passing, holding onto the ball especially if it's wet, or dewy..The errors in this side are disgraceful. As bad as Brad Arthur was in some areas he's far better than this…"
"He can only work with the top 30 he has available . It's honestly a miracle we have been competitive for 50-60 minutes in most games . The people building the roster - I'm not sure he's involved but I'd say he is - are letting us down . "
"Haha yes thank Fck we are moving in right direction horrible to think it could've been worse haha...must've been a speech prepared yesty.
Tbh I was pretty surprised with his words tonight. Maybe he just rested his eyes a little during the nightmare.…"
"Ok, go through the list of players to get right now and let me know who to get other than some quality Centres? We need a middle or two badly. Who is available that we know of right now to get for 2027? That's the problem all well and good saying…"

I think Parra would have known if his a chance of
leaving anytime soon, if it was true I don't think they would have let go of Talagi they would've promised him the 6 in a years time.
If he goes, he goes.
Moses is more important.
Meh
Nup
he will only go to the warriors if he was to leave
I agree with that.
They're the only ones left that'd be silly enough to throw Parramatta money at him.
