I know Sean Lane has come out & taken full responsibility for the mad monday incedent. He has taken the blame for bringing the game into the headlines for the wrong reasons, however, the dog that released this pic to the media must be held to account for his part. This is not a case of criminal charges being laid & it seems the real damage was to Sean & the NRL so why isn't the person responsible for releasing it being held accountable for their major part in bringing the game into disrepute. Let's face it, if they don't release it the damage to the game dosen't happen & you would have to think it is either another player in the NRL or a staff member so why are the NRL just letting them off. It makes no sence at all.
Too bad the peanut that did it dosen't have the balls to stand up & be counted.

Exactly!
Seems the NRL have accepted lane’s version - so isnt the person that sent this and the media for posting this on front page without proof, the real ones to have brought the game into disrepute??
Not giving a free pass to the DH players that have actually been proven guilty but- it will never stop until they go all out to protect the game from those that profit by bringing the game into disrepute with unfounded allegations. Typical NRL fashion no follow through until the next poor bugger comes along again
Pretty sure it got confirmed it was an ex-girlfriend.
Top Dawg?
Lol
I wonder what's happened to Top Dawg
Agree whoever it was should be held accountable.

How can you hold someone accountable for passing on the photo? We live in an age where people take photos of everything. If you are going to do something silly like Lane did then you can't really be surprised when the photos come out. I agree that the person who released the photo must have questionable ethics - but where do you draw the line? Do we hold the media accountable for publishing these photos when they are offered? We just need to accept that Lane behaved in an extremely naive way and has paid a price.
Hi Skipper,
I understand your point totally because if it's just someone from the public there is not much that can be done, However if it is a current player or NRL club staff it becomes a whole different story.
No problem Coach - I can't disagree with your reasoning.
