Where do we see the EELS finishing?

Just eager to see where everyone thinks we will place on the table come season end?As of now, I have us between 6th-10th, just depending on injuries and how much our middle defence improves throughout the year. Another factor is if we unearth some youngsters like brown and how they impact the team. However, if we somehow snag a result this week against Penrith we will be sitting at 3 wins and 1 losses, which is remarkable considering we would have versed the best 3 teams, all away from home.

    • Don't know if realise that Samrami is out for six weeks with a knee injury Penisine still out as well . So really not much else to choose from  In saying that you're summation about the Panthers is pretty spot on and we wont be the last to feel the pain

      • No i didnt realise , sooner put a kid out of our cup into the centres than fucking old man river in kelly

        • Right and ruin their confidence v Penrith. Kelly is not good but experienced

          • kids love to play in the NRL , we cant keep waiting till they are 30 years old and buy them back from another club we gave them to 15 years ago

            • First of all, if you are buying them back when 30 when they have been at a club for 15 years, that makes them 15 when they left? Bit young to know if they are superstars or not.

              And those who wait leave.

Just cause they love playing doesn't mean you pick them. None of our younger backs are jumping out to be picked, it can make it worse with their lack of experience. Particularly at Centre.

  • If Eels beat riff everyone will say 4-8 but if Riff slaughter Eels everyone will be 12-spoon. The roller coaster theory always applies when we know deep down the team has some limitations: the defense in general has yet to assert its bona fides, left side 3-4 in defense a bit suspect, and we are vulnerable at centre and prop to long term injuries or suspensions.

If all goes well they're capable of 7-8th.

    • Panthers have put Broncos, Sharks, and Roosters to the sword, I personally don't think this week's result against them counts much for where we'll finish as Panthers are easily a step above the rest of the teams right now.

  • 8-12 range. If we have a finish similar to last year, banking wins early, we could get 6th or there abouts.

  • 6th
