I must admit, he looked great at times, but he was average for majority of the game. He wasn't supporting Hoppa when Reynolds was terrorising him for those floating bombs. He was turning his body trying to get it away to his winger quickly as if he was the centre which lead to him making a meal of two easy tries. It's only his second game and he can only improve, but calling him a young superstar on the rise is a bit much.
He's not being called a star but a rising star which I rekon is fair enough. He did a few things tonight that not many players are capable of doing. For me that's a rising star.
He has a very bright future at center and looked excellent yesterday with the ball in hand, but he also showed his poor positioning on the wing. Swap them BA.

"Good blog, Pops — as always. Things often aren’t as bleak as they seem, or as idealized as we hope.
What gives me hope is the club's internal alignment now - no matter the predictable outside Doomsday noise. As long as that remains, I have hope.…"

I'm probably the only person that thinks this but I prefer Taka than Hoppa as centre
Those were 2 quality tries for a bloke playing his 1st starting NRL game.
Impressive.
