With another season in the books and another year we fail to life the premiership trophy, I know we won't be winning it in the 2-3 years but is there anything to look forward to that can gives us some hope? Young kids coming through promising through any good?
Shame 09 lost to cheats and 22 ran in to a once in a generation team who were at their peak.

At full strength Saifiti better Paulo . Maybe get one forward in bottom line they much talented then us unfortunately
💯 and I'd take Crossland over TDS he's much tougher has a better kicking game and out of dummy half and his passing game at this point is more consistent.Toughness and selflessness is the key why I'd take Crossland totally a team guy never plays for himself does all the dirty and cleanup work that goes unrecognised.
I love the player.
Unless we have some key personnel changes around Ryles to help him, he ain't winning no comps in 2-3 years lol. Hes a super green Rookie with much to learn. If he manages to kick on he's still 5+ years away from winning comps. The offseason hopes and dreams are alive and well .
After the GF vs Penrith I accepted that I wont see a premiership in my lifetime.
This club is built on failure no current team has more wooden spoons. 80 years 4 wins 14 wooden spoons. year after year of saying next years our year or juniors are coming or one signing away.
Parramatta are a club that exists to make up the numbers if we accept that life is easier its the hope that kills you.
Next time, make it a little more depressing hahaa. At least we made a GF. Canberra have made one in 32 years. Warriors 2 in 30 years. We have made 3 in 25 years. Slightly better than most. Hell, North Sydney made 3 GF's in their 91 years history.
First we need to get into a position where we are actively filling key gaps in the roster before they become problematic. We tend to react to situations rather that predict them. Secondly we need the entire club on the same level where KPIs are agreed and measured. Nothing less than continuous improvement is acceptable.
We can get there, but there will need to be major changes to how this club is run.
All we need to learn is how to rig the salary cap like the Rorters. An example we sign Pezet for 500000 Rorters sign Chery Evan's for the same.
I don't believe anyone on this site will still be alive when they finally win another one.
It will be our time either when we get a financial backer that can get around the salary cap and buy a competition like the Storm or Roosters or when we can develop a squad from our juniors and have lof term success..
Moneyball is what we have tried to do over the past 8 years and that doesn't work...
Moneyball worked for us in early 2020's. Issue was is we relied on it too heavily in 2023, the team fell a part quickly as we bought players like Murchie, Momoisea, Doorey and the likes thinking they will be Isaiah Papali'i. Moneyball worked well with the likes of RCG, Cartwright, Blake etc. Where other teams paid for their contracts, that is where it worked well. But as with everything you need balance.
We are pushing onto our pathways. Just hope with Mike Rush, we can get good people in to see it through.
