I'm sure the mods would have no issues with this news article from the telegraph , after all we do have the Adam Goodes blog still up and this news story is just as  important to all Australians as the Goodes one .

Kenyan-born Yak Dut believed no Victorian magistrate would dare imprison him on assault convictions because of his magical protective skin colour. And he was right.

Although Dut spent 18 months in jail awaiting trial, he was subsequently released after a magistrate’s one-year sentence was waived due to time already served. He’s now riding out a gentle two-year community corrections order

A young cop basher who bragged he’d get away with savagely beating two policewomen because he was black was released from prison today.

Yak Dut, 22, left the two officers hospitalised then threatened to hunt them down and kill them with their own guns after his arrest.

He told police: “I will get away with anything because I’m black. I will play the race card.”

The Kenyan born man said he was confident he wouldn’t spend a day behind bars because no Victorian magistrate would lock him up because of his skin colour.

True, Dut.

County Court judge Wendy Wilmoth today sentenced Dut to 12 months imprisonment, but he will be released from prison today because of time already served … he must now undergo a two year community corrections order.

That’s one year each for Dut’s furious violence against two policewomen.

Dut sparked a pursuit after he refused to pull over when police tried to intercept him after he was seen driving around Melbourne’s northeast.

He led police to his home then set upon them with a flurry of kicks and punches.

One of his victims said she thought she was going to die after being kicked in the head by Dut.

She fell to the ground where he continued to kick her but was able to jump to her feet after Dut reached for her gun.

The policewomen had to use capsicum spray to gain control after they suffered injuries to their head, neck and body during the violent attack.

After being subdued by four officers, Yak Dut yakked it up:

He told police they were all “pigs” and “racist c....” and claimed he had been targeted because he was black.

Dut pleaded guilty to two counts each of intentionally causing injury and threats to kill as well as a string of less serious offences …

Judge Wilmoth described the offending as very serious but said Dut’s youth was a significant factor in her sentencing.

  • Long time ago, the drug squad raided my local pub, I patted their sniffer dog twice, after being warned the first time not to ( drunk and love dogs ) and got done for assaulting a "police officer"
2 years good behaviour bond and after 7pm everyday I wasn't allowed in any premises that sold alcohol and 480hrs community service.
If I put 2 policewomen in hospital, threatening to kill and other shit, I wouldn't be watching the Eels at BankWest for a long time, longer than Yak Dut

    • CE that is a very heavy sentence for patting a dog in that pub  even if it belonged to a cop . As you were charged with assaulting a police officer ,  are you sure you were not so blind drunk that you  instead patted the ugly old police sergeants bald head thinking it was a police Bulldog ? Lol .

      • That was my 3rd time in court for alcohol related matters, ( all minor stuff, nothing serious ) I later found out that the judge always came down hard on piss heads, his son was killed by a drunk driver

        • Yes ?  Everyone  present in court  had suffered . Definitely drink driving is a no no !!

    • Lol, really ?

  • Deport the maggot!

  • this is what upsets you.

Really I am 100% correct you are the easiest target on this site. Why dont you call yourself Kranky Triggerbottom.

  • This is a horrific story and a totally unacceptable outcome.

Surely it can't be too long before the community starts to deal out its own justice on people like this. It seems to be the only way.

  • Wouldn't spend a day. We'll he did spend a year, but hey who can count.

Imo. Put the fucker in gen pop for just a month. No problemo.
