One of the issues the club definitely needs to look at is the lack of middle and edge forwards. Not sure what players Parra could target but I know Josh Papali has been told he won't be offered a contract for next season. Should parra target 1-2 older forwards and a few younger ones ? Garner + Papalli would be cheap experienced forwards, do we have enough young forwards to mix in ?

I'm not a fan of buying a prop from the top shelf. You don't see that many props stay at the top of their game for long. I also wouldn't want to see Tuivatis progression halted. A depth prop is what I'm looking at and having a major tilt at Katoa

Tino. He doesnt look happy at the titans. I feel he will go Perth but I would be chasing him hard. He would have a connection with JR from his time at the Storm.
That'd be nice. Certainly a pipe dream. However with Mal setting up camp in WA I can see him going there should he leave Titans as you say . He's also very close with Justin Holbrook , however Tino did knock uncle Nick back once already so that may have severed that tie .
Id be happy if we paid whatever it took to get Tino. It'd be a statement signing . Him and Fifita.
Tino on 1M-1.2M is fine because Paulo will be gone soon as well or on a reduced contract as an impact sub post 2026.
I don't think JR will be interested in Fifita. I recon he will back the current players and juniors to develop more or move Williams to backrow.
It's too much EA we don't want to go down that road of 7 figures for a middle there not on the field the whole game either.Max I'd give TF is 8-900 and if that's not enough let Perth spend 1.2 plus let that ship sail but don't get engaged in it if it's 7 figures per season.
Same with Fifita he's a 700 k a season player his impact on games is negligible we've got to be brutal around spending our hard earned cap.To me with Fifita he floats in and out of games again if we are after this guy I'm not spending what the highlight footage turns up every other week.
You know Frank mentioned Donahue from the Dolphins last week even a Teig Wilton from the Sharks we need left sided players to as that's getting remodelled next year.Get Sandon Smith in the door another left sided player.Kliese Haas he's another young athletic middle you wouldn't mind adding to your rotation.
Not so sure Tino would want to play under Mal. The Titans have been trying to get rid of Meninga for the last 2yrs. I would chase hard for Tino, and grab his brother Isaac to sweeten the deal. Throw Fifita in their as well, you could probably pick the 3 up for around 2mil, our problems would be solved.
If he wants out of there badly enough , he's going to still have familiarity with Mal , as well as potentially a captaincy and to go down as the new clubs first ever NRL captain. Mals also a QLD superhero.
We have his old assistant for 5 minutes and we couldn't entice Galvin to move 25kms up the road neverlone a proud QLDer to move into the anus of Sydney . Perths very neutral , infact with Mal there it may as well be QLD.
