One of the issues the club definitely needs to look at is the lack of middle and edge forwards. Not sure what players Parra could target but I know Josh Papali has been told he won't be offered a contract for next season. Should parra target 1-2 older forwards and a few younger ones ? Garner + Papalli would be cheap experienced forwards, do we have enough young forwards to mix in ?

    • Tui it is, come on MON get it done

      • Didn't know he started his career at the eels, would be cool to bring him back 😂

      • I do not rate him at all.

  • Id say whatever forwards suit Rylsey's style.  And he'll know most who that is. I wouldn't think Papalii is in the conversation.   Right now we're matching or beating teams with a 6 million dollar team against teams with  11 5 million dollar capped teams.

  • Kamikamica came to the Eels when he was eighteen from Fiji, Arthur got rid of him

  • We tried to sign the prick years ago, he agreed and then reneged without returning an initial payment, too old and a grub....surely we don't need to stoop that low

    • 31 and unwanted, if he's the best we can do with a huge warchest then we should hand our licence over to The Steelers or Newtown Jets as they've got a brighter future than us.  I like going after experience in a winning cultre but he's just a flog without a job.  11 games this season and not a single try.

      • 💯

      • I'm not a fan of buying a prop from the top shelf. You don't see that many props stay at the top of their game for long. I also wouldn't want to see Tuivatis progression halted. A depth prop is what I'm looking at and having a major tilt at Katoa

  • Good ones.
