why can't they both stay at club tho? Look at players sitting it out waiting for chance at storm or panthers for eg...maybe we have to pay them enough to play the game of patience at a building club perhaps not having the clear success' the others have had ?
I (prob all of us actually) absolutely love having the back ups that we didn't have for many years in key spots and we must pay for that...something previous coach didn't seem to favour doing, but essential for having a real bash at things. How isn't his salary relevant ? If he takes half of that salary we have another 2 or 3 rep level players. His salary literally dictates the quality of the team list we name each week. Let's say he forfeited 500k per year , throw that 500k on top of 2 meh players , and all of a sudden our rosters more lively . But he's not going to do that , so we need him to be doing everything in his power to give us 1.2 million worth of value, if he can't then he can't exactly be " upset " about our results.
What Moses can be upset about is if we've shedded a shitload of cap space and replaced it with fucking kids and journeymen and are relying on Hands and Matto to fuck off before we can sign anyone. Because that's a dead set fucking failure on our club. Like the last coach , we find ourselves needing players to play above their weight to be competitive.
