what about me?
you're over the cap
be used a a means of cheating the cap then the nrl has no real evidence
the total is a cumulative total that the club is responsible for therefore the
club takes the wrap.
I am sure the players knew that something was up bit it would have been don't ask why and we won't tell why.
I have no doubt individual players and coach knew but how do you prove it
two contracts proves the player has signed two contracts. it doesn't prove what the 2nd contracts purpose was or that
the player knew there was a systematic rort going on.
billy wouldn't have told Cameron - hey guess what I signed 2
contracts so we can rort the cap. billy would have known but I bet he didn't broadcast it!!!!!!
deals with the intention it would be used as a means of breaching cap.
there will never be admissions - we will probably have to wait for the books when they retire (or the player agents to take the
matter to court).

Like everyone else I detest the Storm players for knowingly signing multiple contracts which - common sense dictates - they would have known was wrong
To compound this they avoided the voluntary contact with the external auditors the NRL engaged (Price Waterhouse Accountants I think). There were more side steps on this issue than what you would find on the field
This leads me to a reluctant defence of Bellamey. I believe he was one of the few from the Storm organisation that fronted the external auditors. Reading between the lines I reckon he had nothing to hide. Dont get me wrong the whole organisation down there are scum bags I just thought this was significant.
All involved are a Bunch Of Politicians
