Volkman’s form this season has seen him establish himself as a key contributor, with the talented playmaker continuing to build confidence and consistency under Head Coach Jason Ryles.
Parramatta Eels General Manager of Football Mark O'Neill said Volkman's re-signing was a deserved reward for his dedication and performances.
"The positive environment which Jason Ryles has created at the Club has provided some stability for Ronald where he is playing his best football of his career.
"He has earned this opportunity with some wonderful individual and team performances, and he will only continue to improve," O'Neill said.
Volkman has enjoyed an outstanding season recording 10 try assists from 17 appearances and adds further stability to the Eels' roster as the Club continues to build towards the future under Ryles' leadership.

Yet weirdly enough Moses has played 19 games this year which isn't too bad compared to last 2 seasons
That's not bad, I'll semi take back my critiques. Vast improvement and I didn't realise he was going to crack the big 20 this year. Hope I didn't just jinx us for Sunday .
If you put me on the spot, I would have said he's played about 10 games. I guess that means he's gone missing in the other 9...
Volkman in the middle sounds better as a TV show than to have him defend in our middle. He would get steamrolled and pummeled, causing injuries over time.
Maybe he has one of these "It was the hardest pre season I have ever experienced" and things change...
I'd just play him as backup 7 next to Talataina and Fletcher getting a full season at 7 in Jersey Flegg.
But I can see some sense in him as a 14.
Next year, I see volk to 6, Luai 13 role
Michael Carayannis has already said that Volkman put himself at around the 250k range and other clubs didn't want him. Parramatta pulled a lower offer when Luai signed Then recently the dogs came in with an offer close to what Volkman was asking but he eventually took a lower offer to stay at Parramatta.
So its looking like we've paid around the 220 to 240k range.
The 500 k range was totally false as stated on nrl 360- Carayannis
Its 250k maximum
So all the bs poppa was preaching is totally crap saying he was around half a mil.
Yes half a mil would be ludicrous money for a kid at his stage. He still has a fair way to go. We've already been down that road of paying huge overs on potential with DylBoobs. I'd say it's great we are getting smarter with our cap , howver if we've offered the unwanted and no demand , Junior Parrrrlorrr 750k as reported , it kinda ruins that theory.
So we are paying Barloooor more than we could've gotten Big Red for . Least Big Red puts in even when he's not playing for his next contract.
Interesting isn't it Wiz; I am happy for Jr to stay but what role and cost is it? and at what expense?
I am more concerned who we are going to get externally...or who we don't get....that is the key. If we are paying $750 rumour for Jr then does this mean we do not have many coming?
As I have been saying - we need some hard edged guys in our team across the park and leaders
Yeah it's concerning if we are paying him close to Origin player money when he should be filling a bench spot if we are indeed signing the players we're rumoured to be chasing. I'm with you it leaves little hope of further additions. Two decent games amongst a season of mediocrity and we are into him for semi marquee money. Happy for him to hang around but given his decline over the term of his contract, he's not a 750k player. We are paying him 150k nostalgic tax.
