The money side of things is a strange one, we should have plenty to spend, maybe a couple of good signings are already all but done.
Tbf they spent quite abit lomax ( was signed last year but doesnt mean they had the $$ at the time ) , ado, Williams, walker, silver, katonga, kelma, iongi ( he probably needs an upgrade n longer deal to keep), joash, samurai, ryley, debelin next year, player upgrades to top 30 spots )
Lomax 650k, silver 650k, ado is 350k or 450k next year, Williams and walker wouldn't be bottom dollar guessing around 400k each neither debelin that's easily over 2.5m - 3m already
Lomax already here before Ryles came, already accounted for before adding up what we have in cap. Williams also before the likes of Matto, Ofahengaue, Lane, Cartwright etc all left.
Do we know that was accounted for or was he signed n space be made at end of the year? Williams yes but that still eats into the guth n rcg money people are accounting. Matto and lane not gone yet, neither is hands. Offa n carry yes, also alot of little contracts that would definitely add up and noone really knows what they on. I'm merely summizing we don't have the 3 or 4 mill everyone expects
He was signed with whatever cash we had in the bank . Arthur was here and he sure as hell wasn't moving Gutherson and RCG on. And you can't ( legally ) sign players you don't have cap space for.
On another note , if we signed NDIS on the same coin as Lomax , no wonder Lomax is out of sorts. Crazy money for a Reserve grader .

Lane is going, just not official. As Ryles said Matto and Hands need to go to create funds but Gutho and RCG money has nothing to do with the $4mil people predict.
Williams has nothing to do with the money freed up by Brown, Ofahengaue, Cartwright, Greig, Lussick and perhaps Lane, Matto and Hands.
