Any update on potential signing?

Nearly a week has passed since Buzz & Adrian mentioned we had a 'good' backrower/middle but we haven't really heard anything since. Does anyone have any further information on this?

  • I think we are close to signing the panthers trainer

  • All i know is if that the signing does have leg speed,  he won't be here, so that Rules out people like Douhie Gutherson and 1ee's Poppa

    • LOL.I might be old but i have great leg speed, I can get to the bathroom in 10 seconds and can nearly always make it.

  • Oh great! I thought it was a 'very good' player.

My expectations have now decreased exponentially.

    • Nobody is  coming !

      • There is a chance of that.

I hope we don't hear a thing regarding potential signings. Announcing targets before they have signed is not smart. It draws added attention to the players from other clubs and this increases their price. It also makes the club look bad if they miss their target. I would prefer the Eels to have a list of potential targets with the amount of money plus length of deal they are willing to offer and stick to it. Signing the wrong players has a snowball effect. The wrong player now can result in not being in a position to get the right player in 12 months time. The Eels probably won't be in a premiership winning position next year,  however, if they remain patient with their recruitment, 2027 could be a realistic chance.

  • Im hearing Douhieh going to Dragons and we in for a chance getting Mooney

    • Everyone has heard this
