Paul Kent - Parramatta are almost certain to sack Jossh Addo-Carr after a meeting scheduled for today, and Kent mentioned there's rumours circulating that Sloan will likely replace him.
Kent was adamant Addo-Carr won't be given a second chance at Parramatta, and he'll likely end up at another nrl club at the back end of the season

Ryles was really hot on Blake Wilson and went hard to sign him for both the 25 (chose to stay at dogs) and 26 (manly). His time at manly was a flop, spending most of his time in reserve grade. He had been released early and is currently looking for a team. We do need a winger who can also cover fullback...
A full season of Sloan is definitely better than a half season of JAC, so if this is on the table then I'm all for it.
Sloan is basically a younger JAC. Not sure his ceiling is as high but JAC is on the decline and Sloan still has the potential to get better for years to come.
Not getting my hopes up because it's Kent and he's usually wrong. But it'd be great if this happened.

Gee we should be able to win this one, I could not imagine he would be getting more than 250k in ESL. The strong St George connections at the club should also be a positive, unless there is a negative they know that we don't.
Even with JAC playing half a season, we still need an NRL level winger who can cover fullback. Samrani is more of a defensive centre / edge forward and Simonson has had dreadful luck with injuries recently so may take some time to get back to his best. I'm actually surprise St George want him out. I reckon Ryles could get the best out of Sloan, and he knows how to find the tryline.
