I have made a big thing about credability even when innocence maybe involved. The relativeness of that is regardless of innocence or guilt it detracts from credability.....poor judgement from the NRL and the person ultimately responsible......I am starting to think that the referrees association has become an old boys club......we need an old fashioned "honest copper" in charge that knows a rat when he smells one. Racing used similar people to clean up "stewardship" in that game.... The Sherriff was eventually purchased by the Hong Kong Racing Club which runs the cleanest racing in the world. Major States Sydney and Melbourne have similar reputations and in Sydney's case the Sheriff started there.
Allowing Klein to referee while having a gambling addiction is absolutely mortifying. The fact it was allowed shows how amateurish the NRL really is. No professional organisation would allow this due to the perception of possible corruption. Just mind blowing. Combine this with the storm messaging the CEO over Lomax also provides an insight into the nepotism within the NRL.
