SharkiesBoomBoomBoom can help us with that!
I know theres plenty of GA space around shark park having been there a few times. Its always a good day out there so I encourage everyone who can to make the trip!
Usually the opposition supporters seem to get GA tickets but if you really want a seat I would steer away from Bays 8-12 in the Eastern Concourse, as these are season ticket holders including the Cronulla Sutherland Supporters Club.
The ends of the Eastern Concourse would be OK and I think there might also be an opposition section in the Southern Grandstand, although this may already be sold out.
It doesn't really matter where you sit as we are generally a good mob of supporters who won't be nasty but I would suggest if you want to sit together to get the GA tickets.
Anywhere you can along Captain Cook Drive, or adjoining side streets.
There is a car park just past the soccer fields, when heading to the ground, but not sure if this is for members only. Again, SBBB..... take it away........
Thats ok. I think its good as well cause you feel so close to the action.
They have parking for $15 a game in the Western carpark but if you don't want to pay just park in a side street (e.g Sturt Rd, which is off Woolooware Rd North) and walk a few minutes. There are heaps of spots, especially if you get there early.
My advice to all is not to park up on any grass areas.
There is two football fields before shark parl, one is for warm up the other is for parking. Next to the footy ovals is two soccer fields. There is free minimal parking there. This will all go around the 3/4 pm mark. However around the soccer fields & back towards the roundabout where Toyata is, there is a lot of grassed free space area where a lot of cars park. Make sure you stay away from this area. You will see cars parking there, but let me tell you - You will get booked. It happens every game. Make sure you read the parking signs around the streets of the ground, Again I will state if you get it wrong you will get fined. Sutherland council always go fo a money grab on Cronulla game days. (Ps - Parking on the footy oval & being one of the last in will take you 30 min or so to get out)
