His hammys make him worth less.
The latest is a comment from Best, he has come out and said a deal at the knights might get done now that O'Sullivan is gone.
He was not happy with the way O'Sullivan was handling his contract situation and wants to chase that premiership they came close to this year.
Expect him to stay at the knights.
Hmm are POS's big contracts causing waves in Newy .. ? Now Bests even mentioning the bloke " handing out" contracts and seemingly indicating they're glad he's gone.
I find it intresting that POS was apparently creaming himself over landing his man he's been wanting to sign since Jesus was a boy , signs him to a monster record deal and then fucks off to another club leaving his cap destruction in his wake. If your Newcastle you might be scratching your head wondering if POS had the clubs best intrests in mind or was it simply just a personal achievement to sign the bloke as he'd previously knocked him back.
To call him the bloke " handing out " contracts leave is quite an odd remark unless there's some bad blood there . I'd even go as far as suggest maybe some bad blood between Bests employer and POS .
Sounds like from Best many were not happy with POS.
He alluded that he's not the only one that wasn't happy with POS's contracts to some players.
Would you be happy if he payed Brown $1.4m per season (they had a better record with him out than with him in) and then he offered you $700k?, there would be a few players there who would be on the outer now because of that ridiculous contract for a player they didn't even need.
I reckon there's most certainly a few players with their noses out of joint when a blow in gets offered twice as much. Especially when the bloke who struck the deal pisses off and leaves his boy and contract in his wake.
The golden haired boy would've felt a little targeted by Bests comments too.
Yeah Brown to him seems more like a check box than anything. Like a trophy achievement that he got him and his job was done. What happened after was up to the club and him.
Brown was a case of redemption for O'Sullivan, wasn't he the one that tried to sign Brown to the warriors when he was contacted to the eels after his rookie season?. He broke the rules and offered Brown $600k per season when he wasn't allowed to approach him, this forced the eels into over paying Brown by around $200-300k per season at that stage of his career and the NRL punished the warriors by hitting them with a wet lettuce leaf.
Good to see your opinions are so easily mapped to media reports. You know your allowed to think for yourself right.
