I'd pay best 1m but only for 3 years. Seems too much of a commitment to pay 4 years at 1m from 2028. If it is from 2027 then maybe.....

Problem is it isn't overs in this market players of his talent aren't there in abundance.What it does for a team with dog shit talent like ours in the given area is it forces you to either pony up or go to the bargain basement for lesser talent hence how you end up with a guy like Kelly who replaced SoO winger in Lomax and the vicious cycle continues.

For us it's not about what the fan thinks he's worth it's how much we are willing to pay to get him out of Newcastle.What the mentioned have done have basically forced the rest of the nrl to pay the mentioned well over to get him out.If not he's staying.

If you are throwing insane money around, then please throw it at Bostock. Very few players these days get bums off seats, but he is definitely one of them. Amazing player who hasn't even hit his ceiling yet.

  Well that is the thing, Newcastle's revised max offer is still less than what we apparently are planning to offer. They are adding ratchet clauses, we could easily do so as well if we wanted to. So they are coming to $820k. We apparently are going $900k. We could go $950k? Financially we are a no brainer for him. It is just if he is so desperate to stay in Newcastle with Baxter.
