He was awesome last night, yes he made some mistakes which was expected but he didn't go into his shell, if anything he got better as the game went on.
Really hope he resigns with the club

He has a very long way to go. But he showed many including I , he's worth holding onto. If he's a genuine star he won't need some long winded stint in Z grade to be ready . He's going to get plenty of footy with little expectation on him over the coming weeks ,we will see when he's going to be ready sooner rather than later. Hes a year older than Hayne and Inu were as examples when they debuted.
Talking about X factors, I'm watching Bevan French absolutely destroying Huddersfield in the ESL. Bevan is still only 28 years old and is an out and out superstar... I know people will say the SL is a 2nd grade comp but this guys speed from a standing start, skills and natural instinct is unbelievable. Makes you wonder if he was under Bellamy or Bennett in 2014 instead of BA when he was 18 years old what could of been? Look what Bellamy has done with Ryan Papenhousen ? Ryan was presented to the parramatta development coaches on a platter when he attended Oakhill college.... didn't even give him a crack in the development squads...he goes on to represent the tigers in the HM and SG Ball... along come Melbourne and identify him as the next Billy Slater, the rest is history. Make no mistake Bevan French is a superstar, the X factor and speed we have sorely missed over the last few years... BA doesn't have the runs on the board with Talagi type talent... we can't let what happened to French happen to Talagi.... we need to find the right coach to develop him properly.
Both Bevan French and Jai Field have been killing it in ESL. Both of them would make good contributions to the Eels with the right coaching. They cover fullback, wing, centre and halves. They are versatile players that have speed and game breaking ability.
If the club wants him to be a long term fullback, a position I'm sure his manager will have no problem with what are we doing about educating him in his new position.
Are we sourcing some outside coaching or are we just using Gutho as a mentor, the bloke who'll be competing for the spot.
Do we want to fast track his development or let it organically improve.
Give him extra tuition now, stop dicking him around and give him a goal to work towards.
Ive been advocating for Gutho to be in the line for a while and leaving Blaize at fullback would send a message to this playing group everyone's position isn't guaranteed and to pull your finger out .
"What I got out of this article when i read it , is exactly why tigers always find themselves in these Galvin and da Silva predicaments . Basically promising the world to kids , why would you indicate to a kid that is still in sg ball that he may…"
"Every club has a thousand of these stories, sometimes they just aren't it at the time and someone else is, some peak early then fade whilst others struggle early and blossom late."

agree that early fuck up would have killed most young guys
the fact it didn't shows he has good self belief and that's a lot of the equation - look at ego and Hayne
anyway I think I will really enjoy watching him playing
especially if it's under a new coach who can get creative with him
Zac Lomax says Hi.
Whilst he did some good things, needs alot of work. Storm will work him over next week.
i dont see X factor in him

Just read his manager wants a 3yr deal worth at 1.2mill. LOL
We've offered that I heard.

Until Brad Arthur leaves, there will be no progress in this club.
We are screwed!
