The Unicorns Strike Back

If some of you people can check in your hipocracy after last week, it may be you will be able to see your own biases.

Have a read of what Pro Daz said  about scapegoats. You called it well Daz and it showed up how people change given circumstances and whinging.

I suggested we would possibly  not win another game this year, but it does not stop me from supporting them. Most of our stalwarts were in that position and a week is a long time when you have blue and gold blood.

I would like to say that our middle is much more capable than we have given credit for. We played like a hunting pack and moved up behind Moses kicks in the backline and some of you owe an apology or two to Junior and JDB. Of course MON has been extended for 10 years with options, but everyone now supports that and the ones that said Jason Ryles cannot coach are out in their backyards looking for holes to hide in BUT we all know "they will be back" wagging their tales behind them.....next time!

Moses  literally strangled/suffocated them to death, those Dog forwards must have been sick and tired turning around after Moses kicked them to death.

Look nobody expected us to win that, and I didn't bet on the game, but I would not of backed us with gifted money, styles of play that various teams play makes a big difference to our team.....we currently struggle against any team with pace and dogs showed today they are short in that respect.

Regards to Mallee57 who put shit on us all week as part of his coming on to this site, knocking everything he could about the coach and admin staff......a week in a Rugby League comp is showing up like a week in politics........ back to the Kennell for you  Mallee and a special call out to Sir Col The Mushroom (up in the sky) who was a great character and had some wonderful relationships with the Dog's supporters.

Some one said Parramatta is a boring side, not bloody likely, we are rocks and diamonds but never its ever a boring experience supporting Parramatta.

    • Thanks  Michael.

yes I am amazed how critical some are after that win.....I think is says a lot about how many of them have ever competed and are understanding of winning and losing........

  • Penisni a good player but when we are as weakened as we currently are he will try to do a bit too much at times. He is a very strong carrier of the ball just wish we had a good winger out side him and backrowers next to him who are dangerous lol

    • I know your heart is in the right place Eli, but there you go and look to confirm failure as a part of winning.

Just to piss you off, I happen to believe that Penisini could be an outstanding winger. His hit ups would also be beneficial from that position and one on one he would be hard to stop....Sivo like....high ball issues arise but it doesn't stop Tohu (sp) being one of the best.....Marky Mark.....lets go find one, what's he worth to the Roosters and is going to Warriors, same for Warbrick for Storm.....how many are out there?

      • If they can try sign Taulagi from cowboys he would probably be decent enough as a winger. Just find a decent nrl winger for sure.

      • RTS is another one they could maybe look at, just to stick on the wing. We need to find some

  • Pop's we need all the experienced guys to step up each week and play well - they don't have to be MOM each week, but simply lead and play well. Footy is a simple game - well done to Moses, who I have questioned too as he has not been at his best imo. He needs to kick well firstly and lead.

JDB again did well and should / could have started a few weeks.

When you play as a team, limit errors, run hard and tackle hard you give yourself an even chance.

I daresay Smith and it seems Volk both could be out next week.....and yet we kick on.

  • I thought we would get flogged and am very happy to have egg on my face. This is one of the best wins in recent memory and the boys played with the energy and intent that Coach Ryles has been demanding since he arrived. The debutants and reserve grade players played their guts out as did JDB.
However one swallow does not make a spring.

    • Does not a Summer  Make......Mutts.....LOL

  • Sorry I forgot to reply to last week what a terrible display border lining cowardes.totally disgusted.

Yeah we hunted in packs today and put them on their backs and got off quickly very happy

  • I wonder what JR does with Tuilagi, Russel and Tuivita back next week. I recon JR does

"Pops, what a win. Some great points here as always.
Blown away by the Eels defence especially - the 1%ers - kick chase, line speed, contact, and our work from marker, no one was switching off & the effort was huge for 80mins.
