Don't mind that, though only did the GF recently. The rumour around is Olivia Dean now since she is in Sydney next week. I doubt you could get her here earlier so fast and she would cost a bomb.
its now overkill on the Arrow thing . Youd think hes the only person on Earth to get this shit disease .
There's are families out there who have not been getting paid the best part of a million bucks a year , have not had the fourtune of huge public fundraisers , and the families have to keep working regular jobs every day to simply support the huge medical bills .
Arrow would own his home , would be insured to the eyeballs and if im correct Souths said theyve paid him as per his contract ?
On top of that , his employers whove claimed to be his mates , are a Billionaire and a world famous mega rich movie star .
So yeah , how about they give it a rest .
ok , ive said my bit . Call me a khunt , i just think if i was a battling family dealing with MND or the likes id feel a little insulted by a wealthy dude with super wealthy mates being treated as he's the biggest battler in the country .
Rusty and packer would spent most peoples weeks wage on a shirt , let them look after the bloke . Then the NRL can do some awareness and fundraising for the battlers . The other week they came around the crowd feom betting agents saying a percentage of our bets would go to Arrow. fmd

Yeah I'm sick of it now. We had players doing the arrow for money , he got his games , the whole game stopped numerous times. He even made an appreanace at Eels vs Dragons for another big moment with Cook . He's become a promo tool.
Now to make the GF about him too. It's a bit cringe .
And yes Nathan Merritt could get up with Shannon Nolll for,the pre game and belt out Nolaeys
" what about me "

Call me cynical but I think these "embrace the player" moments done to folks with diseases that may be (in the future) found to be related to traumatic head injuries / concussions are done purely as a tactic to make sure that they don't try to sue the pants off the NRL or their club.
Not saying it's 100% non genuine, but I definitely think there are a few lawyers that said "Treat them well!" to make sure this all ends without any finger pointing at the NRL and their duty of care.

I'm with you on this. How footy players get given special treatment and fundraisers is a joke when they earn more than politicians and surgeons etc

Thank god someone said it. The whole thing of getting him to 100 games for Souths, that was great, well done for that.
Now this overkill. But the big issue I have is where is all this for Nathan Merritt? Not like he was a nobody either. He played Origin while at the club and scored over 140 tries and played 200+ games for Souths. Why isn't he getting similar treatment?
"I remember once Ryan Matterson was voted the biggest sook at the Roosters. Then O'neill gave him the biggest retirement payout he could have hoped for"
"Yeah saw that after my rant. So it should be called coach of the regular season. Coach of the year is not really the case , is it.
Finals are still part of the year. And it shows who the best coaches actualy are. Example being the Warriors totally…"
