Ahead of the game this weekend I thought I would do a video on my Youtube channel about the rivalry between Parramatta and Melbourne. What started off as a grudge match has slowly turned into a bitter rivalry over the years and the Zac Lomax thing tipped it over the edge for me. My 11th b'day was a far better time to be an Eel. No crying, just bragging. Those were the days. Young and supporting the champs. Now, yeah, bag over head stuff. Sigh
Rivalry, hmmmm. More like we have been their whipping boys for 90% of games. Especially finals.
I suppose most of us do actually hate them though.
I would definitely say it's a rivalry but as I point out in the video, if you support Melbourne you've had it all your own way pretty much. The only times Parramatta have really done them over is when we stopped them getting the all-time win streak, and the Zac Lomax thing.
Yeah, do they see us as "Rivals" or "Patsy's". Dogs see us as their rivals...Melb see us as their Bitchs
