Bulldogs have pulled out of the race for Metcalf and his asking price is around 1 million dollars. Dragons most likely spot but to get him immediately I wonder if this means they will allow Sua to join us early to free up cap space to get Metcalf immediately. Just seems logical

Don't think warriors will let him go this year considering how well they are going. Wouldn't make sense unless the relationship has become toxic
For sure TMM is in the 20 this week. And they still have young Hansen and Cleary. Metcalf is completely out of the picture. Especially if Nz can get a player as well somehow out of it
If he is released early, it is plausible.
if we can get sua early just good to build combinations with Moses and get used to the team. Pretty much the main reason I'd push for it

It's what they have to do if they haven't got that on the roster we were much the same if we'd have landed Galvin or Kolomatangi we were offering close or exactly the same type of money.

The question I have is why are players like Metcalfe Kolomatangi Drinkwater sign so quickly with one if not thee worst team in the comp.TPAs must be rampant there.

Coryn, I have come to bat for MON in recent weeks as people are blaming him for stuff he has nothing to do with or is out of his control. But I can admit as well that it is quite telling that Dragons can sign two players without a coach. Granted paid overs but still signed them. Yet we still struggle.
So there is something not quite right going on there. Before Chief jumps on me for being hypocritical I have never once voided MON of blame, just credited him for good things and called people out for things he has no control on or has nothing to do with. I have called him out for poor decisions, KK and Galvin prime examples.
I don't think it's poor decisions necessarily.I think the club hasn't got the pulling power off the park the others have and won't go past a certain point.Which in retrospect is great BUT when your forty years deep in a vortex running bottom 4 in the comp and have more questions than answers with regards to your developed talent recruitment and retention AND the big one trying to align the mentioned to your best player in your teams prime the noise is very loud around certain people in positions that can fix it and seemingly there having issues doing so.
MoN is but a pawn in this but if we want to compete against the best in the comp you have to be armed with the same weapons of war not walk into a gun fight with blanks and I feel that's where we are at right now.
Sua is a great first pick up for next season but I do wonder if we had any real competition for his services and if so would we have won that battle to get him.Regardless he's an eel just find me a middle a left centre and a right winger preferably with some class.
