  • How accurate is this Mole guy with his scoop? I feel it is tiring as we are always linked to any player on the market and they never stick.

I really like Katogua and can see him growing with a consistent left side combination. Sua on the right, williams aswell on edge, i see samrani could also become a great 2nd rower.

As much as you would never say no to a player like Nanai. i really think we need to focus on FWD and depth in outside backs.

    • Maybe we are looking at transitioning Sua into a middle like souths did with Kelma. He is big, mobile and aggressive. I think he would be a good fit there anyway and even without Nanai would swap him in there and Spencer and move Williams to the edge where I think he plays his best footy.

      • It makes me wonder what the plan is. We have Petrus coming through, despite PNG connection you should plan with the intention that he is a 10 year player for us. Williams you'd expect we would want to keep and Su'A signed til 2029. So is it like Paul Kent said where "They are available, let's sign them"?

It seems there isn't a plan with some recruitment at times.

        • I heard Kent say this too. But where I don't agree with him is, we need ceiling raisers. Right now we need to sign talent and they will take the positions they are singed to play in over our current crop. We have players on low salaries and if Petrus for example is showing he is better on the left than KitKat then Petrus takes the spot and KitKat moves to the bench or Cup. We have another crop of players moving on next year, more cap more roster spots. If we sign as an example (lottery buys) Best, Bostock, Nani, Spencer. They take the spots of nearly everyone in their respective positons. We don't have a roster contesting for a premiership, we sign them and they improve our position in theory.

          • And it creates competition for spots. Part of the problem we have had over the past few years is that there has been little competition for spots, hence player who are clearly out of form keep getting selected in the NRL team.

  • Imagine if we can get Bostock and Nanai though. Two real aerial threats on the same side. Defenders can't block both of them.

  • Has this bloke every been right

    • He trolls fan groups for rumours then puts them up for scoops

      • you mean an AI agent does it for him

  • This guy makes our very own lovable Chiefles scoops look like Nostradamus.
