The one out structured sides are struggling this year. Bronco, Storm, Roosters, Cows, Parra.
The sides playing second phase, dummy half running, passing between forwards etc are killing it. Think Dragons, Warriors, Manly, Penrith, Tigers.
There’s been a shift in the game in 2018. Maybe brought on by the ref clamp down perhaps. But either way the game has definitely evolved. We need to change too or we’ll be done
I have said it a few times already, 90's style footy, offloads, dummy half runs, short passing between forwards, outside in lines is what's working under the new interpretation of the rules.

Offloads increase time in possession therefore increasing the chance of receiving penalties, which further increases possession.
We would be up there in the offload stats... but ours would be most conceded. I'd be surprised if many give up more than we do.
