Surely we take up option to resign the Fox. In my opinion he has been a positive signing.. He looks happy - playing a good brand of footy - and bring a lot of energy. Thoughts?

As long as the price is reasonable for both parties.
After all we did steal him. the reality is who would you replace him with at a cheaper price that could get anywhere near his ability.
Remind me to never take you guys shopping, you buy bargains then complain because the quality is shit. Make sure you take Fong with you, he won't let you buy shit!
Fox is a generational winger, they don't grow on trees!
I'd be happy to take up the contact and extend him for an additional year. He is still only 29 and playing good footy. Even if he played a bit of cup in his last year it wouldn't be the end of the world as he won't be on big coin.
He's great for team morale and coaching of the younger players. By 2027 players like R. Penisini, Mohamed Alameddine, Dom Farrugia should be close to nrl ready. Plus any other external recruits or pathways players. A few other young players I rate who might not make it but I think can be good squad players with the potential to play nrl are Araz Nanva and Bradley Avery.
Hasn't the club got only 6 weeks left to activate the option? Otherwise he's on the open market. Given O'Neill and the club seem to move at a snails pace when it comes to these things, I'd say there is some urgency if it is to get done.
"Say it again Mickey, I am very happy about Ryles and the job he is doing and what he has achieved so far.
To say BA was a waste for 11 seasons is unfair. He came in and did a very necessary job, ideally he would have finished around the 2020 mark…"
"Well Bobalicious , it was actually statistically Barrett that was playing for the spoon last season. He did coach about 70% of the games. But yes I agree , we certainly do have far less talent on the ground this season from a spending perspective.…"
"Yeah sorry. Just a few blokes who don't like him. He slept with his mates Mrs. Even though he's a great player you have to be very cautious with this bunch of broncos players, massive attitude problems obviously "

100% but price has to be OK
Club option, so I think it's whatever he's on now

No hesitation. Fox is amazing
Good to see a new thread after the bye round
Seems likely but no rush. The option is the club's. He's playing really well, I hope we extend him.

You pay class & he full of it.
If I was the Fox I'd be positioning myself for the expansion Bears side.Theyll have plenty to spend and will probably give him coin and years.
