          • Getting him cheaper shouldn't be an issue he is injured and no club wanted him at his current price, parra played this well and waited if they can sign Smith and another good winger munro and mulitalo still on the market that's a team that can challenge for the premiership  yes Smith isn't back till round 17 however parra draw is very soft for the first 15 -16 rounds Smith will help defensively  for the hardest rounds he won't be 100% but he will still be far better then anything we have

            • Munro would be the ideal signing to finish out the speed we need. He has a decent attitude as well and I would hate to see Mitchell corrupt him

            • I think MON confirmed on a recent podcast we have one spot left in the top 30 I maybe wrong - it appears our backline depth is the priority, with one of them wingers would be a great signing

            • That's the thing , him at half of his ability is better than what we have.  Hands is ok at best , cant see him ever living up to the hype that some here were pulling their poods about when he first came to us.  I just don't see any downside to Cheese at the right price easing in at the back of next season. However , anything over 500k post 2025 is too much. For 2025 we'd have to be getting him for quids. It's all about the price. We carried complete bums that didn't even get a run in prior years so having him taking up a top 30 spot is no issue.

        • Price and ability aren't the issue.

Carrying a player for a year and a half is the issue.

  • So Cheese came out and said he doesn't know where all this came from and that he hasn't spoken to anyone at Parra. He is not even sure if his management has.

So we've probably signed him 🤔

    • We have given him a player option for 2025,2026,2027

      • Lol KP MON is all over it!

      • lol  a rugby league Journalist couldnt lie straight in bed.....thats the second question in the interview, the first is are you functionally illiterate .....

      • 🤣🤣🤣

"Same, Kurupt. Whatever the outcome, Jim, Beach, Ryles and the club stood united and stood their ground when they were meant to roll over for the Storm and PLV, discreetly. Moses SC has also been brilliant."
