How bad is he, I thought he was playing good in a bad team but I'm starting to think the tigers are just that bad he looked ok, The Galvin effect is in full swing you can tell the players and coach are sick of answering questions they don't look happy as a team anymore they look like a team that are left in the dark about who is playing where each week I've always thought he is going to regret this decision he will start hating his footy again they are playing worse with him coming on looking like a deer in headlights hopefully gus has finally seen him.

Sandon smith is below average as an NRL half
What's average Joel? My feeling is he would be an excellent choice as our 5/8 but it seems that the roosters would prefer to keep him. That conversion that he knocked over towards the end of the game took a bit of guts and courage. Says to me he can handle pressure, its usually a differentiator when it comes to halves that actually can think.
THe other thing I have learnt over time is do not judge a half if his pack cannot give you momentum. Tell you one thing he is a better half than anything we currently have and that includes DB after his burnout. DB was a fantastic half until Wiz sold him that carton of his special "soft" drink.
What do you want from a young half. Of course he isn't perfect he is still learning but is still 1 of better young half's and better then many experienced halves. Everyone wants to be so negative but if he is below average tell us who you would prefer Parra buy to play with Moses remembering there is a salary cap.
Sandon Smith showed as the Anzac day medalist he likes the big stage and can control games. He has a touch of brilliance about him as well with win percentage between JT and Johns although he has only played 2 seasons.
People expect nothing but perfect games and the halves to win every game by themselves but both JT and Andrew Johns had career win percentage between 55% and 60%. The greats lost games, made mistakes and took time to develop skills. The team you are in affects how you develop and saying Sandon is below average is amongst dumbest comments on here considering how he has started his career.
Katoa is contracted until 2028 he's not leaving the dolphins. And if he ever did i doubt Ben rodgers and Mark o'neill could pull it off. Don't be surprised if we end up with Matt burton. Woods will be ready soon and they have invested in galvin. And burton was to slow for centre against Brisbane and there is no chance he goes to fullback.
