How bad is he, I thought he was playing good in a bad team but I'm starting to think the tigers are just that bad he looked ok, The Galvin effect is in full swing you can tell the players and coach are sick of answering questions they don't look happy as a team anymore they look like a team that are left in the dark about who is playing where each week I've always thought he is going to regret this decision he will start hating his footy again they are playing worse with him coming on looking like a deer in headlights hopefully gus has finally seen him.

He's definitely no halfback. Too young to understand game management. Plays like he's playing touch footy without much structure and throws hospital passes, without thinking.
His mobility reminds me of a young giraffe, awkward and slow. A lot like Jake Arthur.
If he wasn't playing for the Tigers and if Gus wasn't salivating and hyping this kid, I think he would just be another young average kid yet to land in a position that suits his abilities.
Let's just say young Katoa is the real deal, not Galvin.
Totally agree, Katoa isn't just riding on potential, he's showing the goods and getting the results. That kid is next level. He's worth breaking the bank for...Galvin is a much, much bigger gamble.
Tigers had better be careful not to let Gus stay too long otherwise he ends up getting high from the sound of his own voice and starts doing pretty cooked things.
I went to the game tonight my mate got me a ticket. Their fans are dead set feral grubs. The language that comes out of their uneducated mouths is horrendous and families ( doggie supporters) laugh it off.
After the game there was a broncos supporter absolutely giving it to dogs fans at lidcombe station. One dogs fan said ok you won but there is no need for that. I said it's different when you guys win youse are the worst love to rub it in. Your supporters can't take a loss
Galvin is overated and over hyped. Big mistake letting sexton go to super league. Sexton is no superstar but he does his job.
Especially for his value.
The crazy saga of leaving the tigers has added such a spotlight and additional pressure. Compare that to Katoa at the dolphins where little has been expected and he is growing his game nicely without additional media pressure beyond some commentators wetting their pants every time he touches the ball. No mid week speculation picking apart negative aspects of his game like Galvin is receiving. Ethan Strange is also developing very nicely but never rates a mention so there isn't any additional pressure there despite being a major factor in raiders form and still having a few poor decisions and deficiencies in his game.
Galvins price tag, the messy tigers exit and joining a ladder leading team has put way to much spotlight and expectation on the kid.
He has talent and drive and will succeed, and he will be way better than Sexton but the circumstances and timing of his signing has definitely had a negative impact on the bulldogs this year. I think it puts them in better position for the next 5-10 years though just as we would have if he signed with us.
That's why he suited the eels perfect, we've been mediocre so there was no pressure, we have a spot and nothing expected he doesn't suit there style I knew this was going to head this way I bet he's regretting this. The fans were always going to turn when they start losing he's had 3 games now 2 losses. This is a bit like camillla being prince Charles wife.
