Ill have more to say about him later, but he has to be in the running for a top 17 spot there's no doubt. He should be on the 6 man bench regardless.
If he can replicate this performance against the Roosters this weekend, I can't see how the coaching staff can leave him out of the 19 man squad.
Brown has also been a leader in preseason training thus far, and has won numerous shirts for his efforts.
In our out guys.
Surely he gets in over Kelma and he needs to get time in fg, as he is earmarked to be a future repayment for Jnr and jdb as is Sam Tuivaiti and Ryda Talagi

You can't really judge of that considering it was sharks reserve grade. We don't really know how he ll go against actual first graders.
Yeah good point. What id like to know is what numbers he was punching out in reserve grade last year. We'll see if he goes well again this weekend.
If he has another performance like that in the next trial, he'll be very hard to ignore. This is exactly what we want - development players bashing down the door for a shot at first grade. Fantastic.
Can I add to that chief, whilst making the most tackles for the game , made the most fantasy points for an all over performance. Played out of his skin and has really taken his chances. Loved his enthusiasm and the 1%ers. His first stint started at the 18 minute mark so he got to play some time gains 1st graders so to speak. Lose a Brown gain a Brown.
I see him on the same trajectory Tuivati had last year. He will definitely get some game time, I think that was clear by how much time they gave him in that trial. I watched the game again last night it it felt like he was everywhere. Really stood up to the Sharks forwards and his effort was high, so i'm not surprised to see those stats reinforcing his workrate. But it was trial 1, let's see how the next one or two pan out. The future looks promising with Moretti, Tui, Brown, and Ryda.
Yeah what was most impressive was he did not look tired at all really, he got one stint i believe so played a big portion of minutes straight.
Have to remember as well he has only played 1-2 NSW Cup games.
I wouldn't say he gets Round 1 debut but he will get a debut at some point for sure. Just too many middles vying for spots at the moment. Once Origin and injuries happen he will get a look in.
What's his age LB. I heard he was 21 or 22. Also. to put in that performance after only playing 2 games in cup last year is very impressive.
I'd like to see him start the trial match against the roosters, see what the bloke has against a team like them and also to see if he can keep up as well and impose himself as a genuine first grader
Does anyone know what browns weight is?
He looks pretty big and mobile
he will definitely make a debut this year
