  • Hopefully Hawkins brings some organisation.

    Glad they stuck with Samarani.

I can see why he's picked this team he's going to play through the Dogs that's the way to beat them don't go around them.

Interesting to see if we see any off loads this week.I'm hoping it's big bodies hitting holes is the plan this week.

    • Yep with their smaller pack you cannot go around them. Have to go through them.

  • Surely ryles isn't going to trot out the same team that was embarrassingly bad last week.

Talk about lambs to the slaughter, most of the younger guys will not develop if they are all getting their arses ripped apart every week.

  • Eels by 10 and MOM: Hawkins

  • This seems to me there's a rift in some senior players

    • No Cartwright on either team or injured list. Played 44 mins in cup for 4 hit ups and 18 metres? If there is any rift they need to grow up cause no one is playing up to standard bar maybe Williams. In 2 games we have only had 3 players make over 100m - Williams x 2, Hopgood and Paulo. Tigers and Storm each had 3 + 11 backs over 100m to our 8. We can only get better but can't see a win until we get some better go forward. Having a front rower play against us for 65 minutes on the weekend and make 176m and 43 tackles is enough to tell you our effort is not where it needs to be.

  • 🤦🤦🤦

  • Lane, Williams and Hopgood should be a very decent pack vs the Dogs backrowers and lock.
Tuivati has been strong in very short stints. Doorey goes ok but he's an edge player so I guess Williams can go to the middle.
Joe O and Jnr are a problem. Name me another NRL side with starting props of that quality. If they can't get over the top of Max King and Josh Curran (which is also a horrible starting front row) than they should be sent to Ron Massey Cup.
On paper we match up ok against this Dogs side. No excuses. None.

    • We may look better on paper, but the doggies have acclimatised to ciraldos system

    • I would start with Matto and bring Paulo off the bench. Doorey to drop out of the side.

How much do you think the game makes from State of Origin? Ticket sales alone would be huge. Let's say over the 3 games 160,000 tickets are sold for an average price of $150 each. This equals $24,000,000 plus broadcasting revenue and sponsorship…"
