"What's the point of being motivated to be better by playing rep footy and then losing that motivation by spending the footy season on the sidelines injured and letting your club and teammates down? Playing for your team should be motivation enough…"

I think we'll be lucky to win another game for the rest of the year looking at that run.
Who have we got at home amongst that because we aren't touching Melbourne Brisbane Canberra Roosters and the Warriors.That leaves South's and the Cows and even then your banking on Moses.Spoon possibility is looking a real chance yet again.
it's a scary draw / run home, that's for sure. Especially as so many of those teams are gearing up and fine tuning for finals footy. Maybe next season the NRL might look after us with a better draw. Cough cough.......
Where's Mitch Moses? This is getting ridiculous. He might as well retire if he can't play due to continuing injuries. The money could be spent elsewhere. Can't see the Eels winning against the Raiders in cold Canberra. Hawkins was woeful last week in fact the whole team was bar a few players. This year is well and truly over. If the get flogged by the Raiders could end up fighting for wooden spoon 🥄

480 mins for us at $1,300,000.00 is about $2,700 per minute
It's a joke hey , well at least he got to go on a offseason trip away and live his dream of playing for Australia like all his circle jerkers applauded him for doing . Injuries and injuries , but It'd be more palatable if he'd acknowledged the hole it'd left in the team by announcing he's retirement from rep footy and we didn't have to live with the fact that history will likely repeat itself in 2026 .
Put that in normal work perspective! 480 mins is 8 hours... a days work... 1 day! $1.3m for 1 day!
I know this is silly... but then multiply that by say 250 work days per year... he's on the equivalent of $325m pa. I know, it doesn't compare like that, there's training, 10-15 year career etc... but it does illustrate a clear point of how little value we're currently getitng for the spend... that's very hard to argue!
Add in Matterson and Lane,,,now Brown. Our team on the park ain't worth shit...Actually, how many min has Catto played and what $$$? Lane too. They might beat moses by the minute.
