Jason Taumoulolo has been mentioned around the traps as being targeted by the Eels.
Here's the Facebook excerpt that mentioned the rumour
How would he fit into our 17 ??
If the Cowboys want him off their books, they'll have to pay 500k pa so I can't see this happening . He's 32 and signed until 2028

I thought we were getting that kid from Brisbane lower grades
He is only 18
Lol your mothers uncles cousin rumour god you gotta love the off season.
Ok I'll play if we are dumb enough to go through with this I'd be questioning the future of this pickup.
Yes because there is none that's why we don't pull the trigger.
We are building something we don't try and reclaim a guy whose time has clearly past.
You don't let the Cows off the hook by signing JT you just don't do it let them eat the cap hit as it's one less team we have to worry about climbing the nrl ladder.
Now now Coryn, it could have been his goldfish that told him.
If it was, i'd be inclined to believe. Coz that's one fucking talented goldfish, even though they never cracked first grade.
Just like any signing, retention or recruitment, what determines whether it's a good or bad signing is the amount of money. To be successful depends on the value for money you are getting from your roster. I would say the 3 worst value for money players this season have been Ponga (Newcastle) David Fifita (Gold Coast) and Mitchell (South Sydney), look how their seasons went. With the possibility of signing someone like Taumalolo you also must include his experience and leadership benefits he will provide for our young players. Simply, would it be a good or bad signing can only be determined by the amount of money being paid.
Name a season where fifita hasn't been one of the worst value for money players lol!
2021 where he scored 17 tries in 21 games.
We need someone that offers punch and has experience in the comp. If we didn't sign De Bellin, I'd have been happy to get JT..
