Looks like the titans are going to monster NZ in NZ. Thought we might have created some space from the bottom but looks like Parra is going to have to keep the foot to the floor. Spoon could be anyone's now but we seem in a better place then a few sides around us

I don't believe we need Cambell , I think between Longi and Papalii we've got our future
It might take years for them to reach Campbell level, Moses doesn't have that long left. Have to strike while the iron is hot
Iongi is a 10 year fullback for me, and Joash can cover both spots for sure. Good place to be in
I think whichever team gets the spoon should be able to use it as motivation for the following season. Sometimes, we humans can become comfortable if we just do enough. Some people are happy if they are not the best, as long as their not the worst. But when a team gets the spoon it provides more benefits than just avoiding it. The NRL competition has 1 winner and 16 losers.
It can drive change at a club for sure, but would prefer to avoid it. Few clubs could use the reality check but like dragons and knights and maybe titans.
If you're not 1st you're last. If it hurts the players enough to encourage them to work harder, I am not fussed one little bit if they get the spoon.
Possibly, my feelings towards getting the spoon could be influenced by the fact that the mighty Eels have won more spoons than any other club in the NRL. The Eels have come the closest to matching the Dragons 11 premierships in a row. Back in 1956 the Eels managed to string together 6 consecutive wooden spoons, starting in 1956 until 1961. During the Eels first 15 seasons they won 9 wooden spoons. The next 63 years through to today have been much better with only 5 more wooden spoons. If 2025 is added to the Eels wooden spoon tally it wouldn't bother me too much.
In 1962 Parramatta made the semi finals for the first time, there was no coincidence this improvement coincided with the arrival of Ken Thornett.
That was a massive turnaround in 1962. It's hard to believe it's possible, but during that 6 year stretch from 1956 to 1961 the played a total of 108 matches and only won 16 games. In total contrast to the Eels, St George Dragons won 90 of their 108 premiership games from 1956 to 1961.
We need to beat Newcastle and south to avoid the spoon
And the Warriors every year they start as world beaters then shit at the end
Were not fighting to avoid the spoon, we can make the top 8 according to the ladder predictor. Same ladder predictor had Bennett leading Souths to the spoon.
