You wont get both, nor should you with how much both will cost together. Same with Grant. Yes he is the best Hooker in the comp but we do have Da Silva already. It is cap management at the end of the day.
It is nice saying we can sign them and them and them. But cap is so important to manage,
The cap is important to manage, but it always seems that the usual suspects buy the talent then shuffle the decks to make it work. We need to get to the stage where we're one of the clubs buying the talent and shuffling the decks.
It's like when super league started and the eels has a secret meeting with all the planned targets at once. This is who you're playing with if you're all in. This is something I'd love to hear about again one day.
Yes and no, as clubs can move players on but you have no leverage doing so, plus you are moving on a player there is a reason that player is being moved on and clubs know that so they will try to get best deal for themselves possible. On top of that is the player has a contract, therefore they can say no to a move if they feel so.
Dogs shuffle the decks, hasn't really worked for them now has it? Penrith did so early on and still worked but their juniors made up for the limited cap space they had by paying out players they let go.
We are in a position where we need to overpay, but we cannot go bizurk either. We can't just throw $1.7mil at Grant, $1.1m at Best and $950k at Bostock when other clubs can get them slightly cheap too. Get one and another very good player and go from there.
As for Parra having secret planned meetings, well clubs talk to players before Nov. 1 now anyway. Those who say "You cannot talk til Nov. 1" either are oblivious or put their head in the sand. I reckon the targets they want they are discussing with roughly the same time.
You and Analyst are both full of shit attention seekers. Call it out and grow a set both of you, or you have nothing. Stop playing games with members for your own attention. Call it and own it or you have nothing!

"Yeah not sure. Apparently Ryles nearly got the St. Helens job after Holbrook left at the end of 2019. Would have had convo's with Rush then, but i think Ryles didn't want to commit to SL full-time and move family. He took England Union job as it was…"

"Only article i have seen is Mole and his article pretty much said he thinks they should do that. You are right i cannot see them doing so. Roosters aren't going to have their mind changed from a great 25min performance, they plan their squads years…"

And Bostock as well. That's be a nice centre/winger combo. Highly unlikely but they can all chat to Harry as well.
