Parramatta Eels are excited to announce the signing of premiership-winning forward Spencer Leniu on a four-year contract commencing in the 2027 NRL season.
One of the game's most dynamic and impactful middle forwards, Leniu brings an outstanding experience to the Blue and Gold, including four NRL premierships, State of Origin honours for New South Wales, and international representative experience with Samoa.
At just 26 years of age, Leniu has already established himself as one of the competition's premier enforcers, renowned for his explosive carries, physical presence and ability to change the momentum of a match.
Parramatta Eels General Manager of Football Mark O'Neill said securing a player of Leniu's calibre was a major boost for the Club's future.
"We're thrilled to have Spencer join the Parramatta Eels and become part of what we're building at this Club. He's one of the elite middle forwards in the game and has consistently performed on the biggest stages throughout his career.
“We're excited to welcome Spencer and his family into the Eels community. We know he'll make a tremendous contribution both on and off the field, and we can't wait to see him in Blue and Gold,” said O’Neill.
Leniu will join the Eels squad for pre-season training later this year.

Made Keary look like an idiot.
But he's also very much a man of his word and also when the whole Mam thing happened, he said Mam called him a coconut first but kept it to himself as what happens on field stays on field.
He is all about justice to those who do him wrong but he is also loyal. Ryles could get a lot out of him.
Imagine being told at the start of 2026 that you'll sign Jaydn Su'A, Jahrome Luai and Spencer Leniu.
Low key good work. Get the left centre now and Ryles has the tools.
In 3 years time, id much rather have a 29 year old Spencer than a 32 yo Keon
Best thing about Spencer is that it certain his best years are in front of him.
The only difference between the 2 is one's a pack leader and the other isn't YET that's what we have to hope for that impact has to turn into workrate for 60 minutes not 30-40.
Kolomatangi imo is the better prop of the 2 if your asking to build a pack round a alpha.
Anyone concerned that next year we're going to have the two most hated players in the game at our club lol?
No1 is going to care if they are playing good and we are winning
I asked in jest, I couldn’t care less either. I've stated already both are good signings. Interesting that we've gone from a team of nice guys to a few bad asses in the space of a couple of months
Who are the next 2 most hated ? Can we get them too ? 😜 we already have Moses who's probably number 5.
Ezra Mam (well that ain't happening now) and Corey Horsborough. Get Gutho back for one last hurrah
DCE has moved to England so Moses might move up a spot 🤭
