There is something wrong with the NRL product atm. The overage points scored this weekend was 58 points per game. This is out of control and boring as hell. I find myself struggling to watch a game atm unless Parra are involved and that's not going much better. I just wish these gronks in charge would just leave the game alone

I am not enjoying the product this year, regardless of our shit form. The game seems fast and souless to me... but they tell me it's bigger and better so I guess I must be missing something

Gone down the NFL notion of more touchdowns/trys = more exciting. Pretty obvs refs are much more involved now also
Some of the games seem like a broadcast of the ref. It's getting painful to watch.

The worst part of the product this year is that in every set now you're expecting some repeat set called for some reason brutally not obvious and we see little effort to build a set. At this point what should happen is that when the team kicks downfield, they should all stop. The team receiving the kick should catch it, walk to about where it was kicked, and play resume. Because that is seemingly what PVL ball is about. Advancing the ball through the middle 40 of the field. The expectation that teams will be marched downfield via infringement calls is now the dominant expectation.
