The Parramatta Eels are quietly looking to move winger Maika Sivo.
Currently on a deal worth around $550,000-a-season, Sivo has been a shadow of the player who took the NRL by storm when he debuted back in 2019.
We’ve heard the Cowboys are interested in trying to strike a deal to bring big Maika to Townsville but have virtually no wiggle room to move in the salary cap.
Sivo was axed to NSW Cup earlier this season before being sin binned against Manly for a brain snap.
The Eels flyer has still managed to score six tries in four games this season but with Zac Lomax arriving next year Parramatta are looking to buy themselves more room in the salary cap.

They'll move Taulagi to Centre and Sivo to left Wing, Feldt is right Wing. It'll be for this season then Laybutt is back.
I think 2026 is his option and 2027 is club option. But either way he will take an offer where given. A club will take a punt since he is such a prolific try scorer.
26 mutual option so if sivo picks it up probably lower like the hodgson one

We really, really need to take a stand against Isaac Moses. It would take years to purge the club of players with his services, but it's worth it. We just need to flat out refuse to do business with him.
Only issue is you really limted the players you have access too. On top of that, it would be illegal to stop players choosing an agent of their choice wouldn't it?
