If you can only name one player who you think will be most likely coming to Parramatta for 2027, who will it be ?
Whether you truly have inside info or just an educated guess, it doesn't matter. The whole excersize of this blog is to create some positivity, as I really think there'll be at least two decent signing for 27.
Now please don't turn this blog into a negative R & R discussion, as we should have the cash to make these signings happen. We should have upwards of 1.5 - 2 million dollars to spend you'd have to think.

As his manager, he is doing his job. Selling his client. Cheap for an NRL player would be around $250-300k you would imagine. For a Halfback around $450-500k. With the intention of starting that is too.
Overall though, doesn't matter what he is on since he is off the books in 2027.

It's so incompetent from our R&R, so much movement in the recruitment space but we aren't involved.
I'm not saying we should've signed Katoa or Ramien but the Cowboys have had 2 months notice with Drinkwater and Taulagi leaving and have already made signings. We haven't replaced Lomax and it's been 8 months
Ummmm, Brian Kelly is Lomax's replacement. He's obviously a piss poor replacement but he is it.
How can Kelly be when he was not bought to start. Originally it was a back 5 of Iongi, Simonsson, Penisini, Russell and Fox. Without injuries he ain't starting.
I think the club is more invested in trying to lock Burton and Spencer up before that can move to getting a centre could be young/star for whatever is I don't mind.
I haven't heard much about Leniu coming here. Thought he was committed to PNG. But who knows who we are after. Tom Jenkins had rumours around that he was coming to Parramatta, he is off-contract and there is absolutley nothing about him leaving or re-signing with Penrith. Which makes me think he is off to Parra just waiting to be announced.
It is situations like that where i think we are after people many here would know about. We are pretty good in that department where we are pretty hush hush on who we are after and sign. It is the same as players we are after according to media i believe half we aren't even after.
So who knows who we are after, we are not Saints or Wests. That can be a good thing.
Two months notice? They told Taulagi at the end of last year they weren't renewing him and Drinkwater nearly went to Dogs at start of the year. The talk of Purdue going to 1 started with his negotiations end of last year.
They weren't given sudden notice then needed to make a decision, you know that right? Both those players leaving was on the cards for 4-6 months.
Joel had we signed Katoa or Ramien do you consider that a replacement for Lomax? Not many can replace Lomax type to be fair.
Lomax was a top 3 winger in the comp, I was never expecting a 1:1 replacement and I would've accepted Sami, Katoa or Cobbo.
its just the fact that we we ended up taking the easy option in bringing Simonsson back who had a cry and requested a release only a month before
Simonsson was already signed long term before that so Ryles had a plan for him. So makes sense just keeping him.
Issue is why complain about not signing Katoa or Ramien? They are fine and are slightly better than what we have but there are options out there better than them who have not been signed. Particularly Centres.
Xerri, Timoko, Jenkins. These i would consider better options. Katoa is now injury prone. Ramien is fine but with Xerri and Timoko chances of leaving i think they are better options.
Saying you would have accepted them is fair. That is a fair term 'Accepted'. For me though, i am willing to wait til the likes of Jenkins, Xerri, Timoko and more are gone before going off. Taulagi i would have loved but we obviously wont get him.
I am just a bit over people just complaining about every signing made and saying why aren't we signing them. Half the players they say that about they would complain if we signed them.
