If you can only name one player who you think will be most likely coming to Parramatta for 2027, who will it be ?
Whether you truly have inside info or just an educated guess, it doesn't matter. The whole excersize of this blog is to create some positivity, as I really think there'll be at least two decent signing for 27.
Now please don't turn this blog into a negative R & R discussion, as we should have the cash to make these signings happen. We should have upwards of 1.5 - 2 million dollars to spend you'd have to think.
Just name 1 or maximum 2 potential signings
Players off contract

The one player most likely to come to Parra in 2027 is Jaydn Su'a.
Any of these big names being thrown about are pure fantasy.
Have we been paying Pezet $400k? Crikey
We have also been paying someone 700k to be a public figure on instagram lol
Fucking Matto
I do not believe we would be paying 400k for Pezet.....it was said at the time it was rediculously cheap, my guess 250?
and yes it is a guess because no one other than those that "count" will know the truth, especially not the garbage journalists that live on zero tackle and the like. If anyone paid a premium it would be the Bronco's and boy have they bought a "bunny".
I remember when we signed Pezet, one of the journos on NRL360 quizzed Anasta on how much we paid for Pezet, Anasta said we got him ridiculously cheap, my guess is $300 - $350k.
Yeah Anasta said we got him for a good deal. Really could be anything. But also could be more than letting on as when talking about him he was in protective mode as many were knocking the signing so Anasta was saying all these things to Parra fans so they buy in.
Who knows but main thing is whatever he is being paid is off the the cap for 2027.
The comment i heard anasta say was "cheap for what he is", what exactly that means is anyone's guess.
Let's look at what he was when the eels signed him to the 1 years deal, he was a reserve grade 7 with a handful of games in first grade highlighted by a man of the match performance in a finals game. What the eels should be paying him is about $350k but I would guess we are paying considerably more considering the club kept floating the idea we had little cap space available after the signing.
