If you can only name one player who you think will be most likely coming to Parramatta for 2027, who will it be ?
Whether you truly have inside info or just an educated guess, it doesn't matter. The whole excersize of this blog is to create some positivity, as I really think there'll be at least two decent signing for 27.
Now please don't turn this blog into a negative R & R discussion, as we should have the cash to make these signings happen. We should have upwards of 1.5 - 2 million dollars to spend you'd have to think.
Just name 1 or maximum 2 potential signings
Players off contract
Paulo 950k
Matterson 650k
Walker 400k
Russell 350k
Pezet 400k
Debelin 250k
W Penasini 500k ???
Signings
Jaydn Su'a. 650k

Yeah Popo has big raps, especially from you! But with his injuries I imagine he starts in Flegg again next year.
I think Jez might stay as that combo backrow/middle - he plays 20 mins to start then moves to middle when Petrus or Latu come on, depending who's on bench.
As for Visconti, he's been immense, but I just didn't have a place for him in my ideal pack and bench because there other highly rated forwards. So he might be a Ron massey-Cup rotation.
This all depends on how well Doorey and Hopgood come back.
If Popo stays injury free for the rest of the year I recon he starts in NSW Cup next year.
I agree regarding Jez positions.
I recon Visconti will be allowed to play at another NSW Cup team if he cannot crack the cup team here. He is too good to be in RM.
I guess a lot depends on who the club want to resign for the current list. I think Volkman, Will, Richie, Tago, Walker, Mataele, Tuilagi and Matto will leave with only Paulo being the only player we resign. Not sure on Pryke. He doesn't have a high ceiling and when you have similar workhorse players like Hopgood, Guymer and Edwards at the club and players with higher potential coming through, we may let him leave.
I am happy to see all those players leave, but it would mean we need a haul of backs.
I think we both agree Alemaddine won't stay or good enough, he would've been a mainstay for Cup backline next year. We need to see more of Rokosuka though.
Tbh it could be regarding Pryke, its between him and Visconti.
We need so many outside backs. Idm Richie if he could stay injury free which seems impossible.
Yea Alamadine hasnt developed the past 2 years. No pace. Poor defender. Not atheltic enough. Roksuka, Bloomfield and Sorovi need to be the focus on development.
Edwards might be the problem for Pryke. Edwards being able to fill in at Hooker and having 57 games of NRL makes Pryke odd man out. Tries hard but as you say EA he is low upside overall.
Perth he would get some NRL for example but don't see him as a 50 game NRL player. As I said before if not for injuries I think many here would think he would leave the club without a debut.
Thomas mikalaele. Clayton fualalo. Moses leota
We will sign Cole, Averillo, Keppie and Mariota, and re-sign Paulo, Mataele and Will Penisini.
hopefully off contract players go, we know Pezet, Russell and Matto are gone and hopefully we don't resign Paulo, Debelin or both Penasini. Can't see Brown being any good as if he was they would of given him a run with all our injuries. Our signings, sounds promising with Burton but they never seem to happen. Hopefully Burton, Jenkins and 2 decent middles would be a good starting point. Why get rid of Paulo well he plays good when his contract is up for renewal or a extention then goes back to his normal lasy self and needs to be rid of. Hopefully the juniors coming through shows something but I wont get my hopes up as so many of them are over rated on here.
Jenkins, Burton, Xerri - and a front rower.
Ford as others have said would be great. But Warriors likely wouldn't let him go with Barnett leaving?
Would you go Keaon if he was available again NOS? Just don't let Michael see your response and argue something entirely different to what was being argued ahaha.
On Ford, that is the thing with Barnett going would they let Ford go. But also, they seem to be a club where "If you want to go, just go so we can look elsewhere". They are really good at that and have some talent forwards coming through. They love Stowers-Smith.
