Look at it this way Ryles has cleaned out a lot of nrl experienced players who were on lucrative contracts but not really doing anything or performing to that level. If you can get jack bird on a dirt cheap contract he can definitely be apart of the top 30 for depth lol

Not sure where he is in his career path but I would have thought we have starting edges and 13s as a lock so then your basically adding a utility.
What the signings if Bird is added we are getting now there taking experience over actual game changing talent.
